New record for PET to PET 2025 balance sheet: 1.34 billion bottles processed

· 33,675 tonnes of high-quality PET beverage bottles were successfully recycled in 2025 – this represents an increase in production volume of around 7% compared to the previous year (2024: 31,354 tonnes) and a new all-time high
· Challenging conditions: An initial sharp increase in processing volumes due to single-use deposit systems in neighbouring EU countries and Austria was followed by consumer reluctance in the second half of the year
· Price differences between primary and secondary goods and increasing cheap imports of secondary raw materials from non-EU countries are a growing problem
· Investments at the company's site: High-quality metal separation system for detecting and removing contaminants from beverage cans and a new 140 m³ silo for additional storage capacity successfully put into operation
· Outlook for 2026: Further automation steps planned in the washing plant and plant feeding
